How Can I Raise 1,500 Euros?
A Sister's Hope 60K is designed to challenge you.
For some walkers, raising a minimum of 1,500 euros will be the easy part. Their challenge will be training for and completing the 30 km each day.
For other walkers, raising 1,500 euros sounds impossible.
It IS possible.
As a matter of fact, thousands and thousands of walkers have raised that and much more for multi-day walks in North America. The average walker raises somewhere between 130 and 150 percent of the minimum donation amount. That's how a two-day walk in Toronto raised $17 million last year for Princess Margaret Hospital and its breast cancer programs.
This is a new concept in Holland. It's an opportunity for the people of The Netherlands to show that a small country of 16 million people is capable of accomplishing big things.
If you are one of those individuals who thinks raising 1,500 euros will be difficult, then that is your challenge. You CAN do it, but it will test you and push you because somewhere in your mind, a little voice is trying to say "You can't do this." Don't listen to it. You can achieve so much in life when you believe in yourself, when you answer that little voice with "Yes, I can!"
