Come spend Saturday evening, October 30, in Jackson, Missouri, as hundreds of runners and walkers gather to raise significant funding for breast cancer research. This 8-kilometer route winds through Jackson's beautiful city park and around the prestigious County Courthouse, built in 1908. |

Participants of all ages are welcome and encouraged to join as this is not only an event to raise funds for crucial research, but also an activity to get people moving toward a healthy lifestyle. Whether you decide to participate as an individual, or alongside your family, friends and co-workers, get registered for the 8k.
The route begins and ends at the Municipal Band Shell in Jackson City Park, near Rotary Lake, and includes some hills, along with inspiring views of the old courthouse and serene walking/running along Hubble Creek. Live music will rock from the band shell to close this incredible evening.
This IS a fundraising event and it is important to note that medical researchers receive only about 25% of what they need each year, thus limiting the possibilities of finding better treatments and, ultimately, a cure. This is why each participant is required to collect a minimum of $80 in donations. {One in 8 women gets the diagnosis, so we go 8km to help find a cure, and $80 raised by each participant will go a long way.} Prizes will be awarded to top fundraisers, so start now! Register, get your welcome information and get started today. Money raised by the PINK MOON Walk & Run will be used for breast cancer research taking place at Northwestern University, a project led by Dr. Seema Khan that focuses on a method of early detection. Details on Dr. Khan's project can be found now on the "Research Funded" page of our website. REGISTER NOW |
